RULES FOR ADDRESS ON PACKAGES:
1. CORRECT SPELLING & UP-TO-DATE ADDRESS:
Be sure to give your APARTMENT / SUITE / LOT #'s
~UPDATE~ MAIL or SIGNED PACKAGES:
If you get divorced you need to be sure and take your ex's name off of your Paypal account. Why? Because the USPS Mail Forward they have in place automatically takes over the routing of the package.
When a Paypal USPS mailing label is printed we send to as it is on the account unless you specifically notify us of changes. This is a Paypal policy we have to follow to be protected.
It is your responsibility to be sure your address is correct, we have no way of knowing changes unless you tell us.
So if you have an ex that now lives down the road, please update your information to insure it arrives the first time it is sent out. Thanks!!
2. SPECIFY BEING SHIPPED TO BUSINESS ADDRESS:
We have to fill in a box that says home address or not. So the carrier is looking for your home and most of the time won't drop the package off to a business. If they drop it to the wrong place they are responsible for the package price and are being safe.
3. PROVIDE A CONTACT PHONE NUMBER:
When the carrier calls me all I can do is give the address given. If you get a call from an unknown number it could be the carrier, sometimes they only have a personal cell phone to use so caller id doesn't say the company name.
4. REQUEST SIGNATURE REQUIRED:
If you DO NOT want the package left on your door step, then the package needs a Signature Required (this has a fee). Once the item is delivered the carrier is free from loss, so if someone steals it no refund is given.
5. CHECK YOUR EMAIL:
A confirmation letter is sent from the carrier with you tracking # and estimated delivery date. UPS - USPS provide one when your package label is printed.
6. CONTACT THE CARRIER:
Sometimes the driver simply can't find your address or isn't sure where to leave the package.
7. CONTACT US:
If you haven't gotten your package and feel "it should be here by now". We are not aware you haven't gotten your package unless you contact us. The faster you contact us the faster we can have the problem taken care of.
Odd Tips - Just Because
All UPS packages are shipped GROUND - this is the standard service if you need your item faster please update on your invoice before paying or contact us.
If you absolutely HAVE to have a package by a set date please ask how long the estimated delivery time is BEFORE you purchase it from us. We can't control the carrier being slow and things do happen. We have packages out with-in 1 - 3 days.
