All that is needed is a Phillips Head Screw Driver.
Remove the screw from the handle of the vent and remove handle
Remove the screen and then remove both screws from the crank handle arm.
You will need to then slide the arm down to remove it from the lid cross bar.
Be sure to save the small tab on the back side on the slide bar as you will need this.
The lid will then open fully and you can slide the lid off.
When replacing with a new lid note the curl has a small part that is formed different, this is the keep the lid in place and you need to be careful not to bend it when putting the new lid on.
You will go back through the steps of removing the old lid in order to reattach your new lid.
Be sure that the small tab is on the arm bar and that you have it facing with the bowed shape towards the actual arm and that the cut-out is facing down.
